THE ORDAINED SMILE OF SAINT SADIE MAY JENKINS is the seventh play in the nine-play series The City of the Bayou Collection, Reginald Edmund's contemporary House of Atreus through an Afro-Surrealist lens. The play takes place in the burned out ruins of a small shotgun house in the 4th Ward of Houston.
