The Odyssey

The Odyssey was likely composed near the end of the 8th century B.C.E. in the Greek coastal region of Anatolia, more likely intended to be performed that read. In it, Homer relates the epic journey home of Odysseus, King of Ithaca, who was assumed to be dead after the fall of Troy.
