The need for African American Studies to Define and Teach Gentrification: Gentrification

This book seeks to discover and examine the concept of gentrification through the lens of African American Studies. My thought process regarding my argument was lead and inspired by the current events of extinction level movements toward African Americans, specifically African American people in urban cities throughout the United States. The ongoing removal and displacement of African Americans is an epidemic beyond proportion and contrary to popular belief, racism still exists.
