The Mayor's Bear

The Mayor's Bear is a book for families and children to enjoy as a Town Mayor and her ragged stuffed teddy bear find themselves in the middle of a difficult but (eventually) happy adventure. The market town of Netherneither End and its university will never be the same again.  

The readers and listeners will discover how the real magic in the world is done by people with love, courage and commitment. This book is about the importance of trust, truth and teddy bears, as well. 

Family ties, good neighbours and public service feature highly in the story. And the book will educate children and adults alike on the importance of local councils and how they help nurture great communities. Moreover it is a book about hope, and even when everything seems impossible, something (or someone) comes along.
