In the dark hills of rural England, on land haunted by the ravages of time and an evil older than time itself, a darkness spreads to those unfortunate enough to know of, or have connection to, the town called Callow. That was where Kieron worked when he disappeared, before some unfortunate soul found his body naked with his hands cut off. That was where Jo Hanlon was heading when she picked up an old lady hitch-hiking, with her carpet bag full of bloody, murderous surprises. Now Gordon and Jack have lost two friends to the same horrific fate, and they're determined to find out what bloody evil caused those tortured deaths.
