A little brown calf roams the prairie, looking for her mom. She needs her first drink of milk, but her mother is nowhere around. The little brown calf is hungry and tired. The rancher appears and sees the calf all alone. She takes her to the ranch, where the little brown calf gets to eat, and slowly becomes stronger. She then gets sick.
