Tribune Coralanus is a devoted soldier of Rome, intent in keeping local order within one of the Empire's outer provinces to the East. However, when he meets Tia, the natural daughter of a General he once served under, his world is turned upside down with love. Tia lives within a different background, from which she wishes to break.
