In the lengthy list of bad decisions and stupid mistakes that Bob Chafe has made, nearly killing himself is now at the top. A close second is having an affair with his ex-wife, Liz Reardon--or perhaps leaving his wife, Denise, for Liz, without checking with Liz first. Bob's not sure; his brain is fuzzy because he just woke up from accidentally running his car too long in Liz's garage. But maybe he can use the carbon monoxide poisoning to pretend all those mistakes never happened--at least temporarily, until he can figure out a better plan.
