The Ice and the Diamond

At last after a long wandering along Piatizonie Diamond Mongoose is arrested. However, because of his phenomenal abilities he is sent not to the prison but to research-and-development center "svetoch" where they start to expose him to inhuman experiments. When once during one of the regular experiments a failure happens, Mongoose uses his chance and escapes from his torturers. While trying to disappear from the pursuit, he sets off to Novosibirsk, where, by the grapevine, he has a chance to find the clue to his phenomena - the source of rare anomalous energy. However he is not the only candidate for this finding.
