The Hot Springs Trail is a 2,421.4-mile backpacking route connecting sacred places with healing waters. This thru-soaking adventure begins over the Pacific Ocean, in the paradise town of Santa Barbara, California, and visits 100 wild or resort hot spring areas before reaching Canada.

Located between these rejuvenating springs are dozens of swim-worthy lakes, historic resupply towns, and remote summits; plus a diversity of big game wildlife, stunning geology, and unique ecosystems.

The Hot Springs Trail is comprised of 4 sections, each of which is its own epic adventure with its own guidebook.

Part 1 - The Coast Connect Trail
Part 2 - The High Sierra Hot Springs Trail
Part 3 - The Nevada Trail
Part 4 - The Idaho Soaktennial Trail

The Hot Springs Trail Official Guidebook provides a complete set of detailed and updated maps plus logistics for the entire trail, including:

- Safety Concerns
- First-hand Advice & Tips
- Hot & Cold Spring Water Sources
- Official Options & Detours
- Resupply Towns & Supplies

The Hot Springs Trail Official Guidebook was published as a template for an official Hot Springs National Scenic Trail.

The Hot Springs Trail was pioneered solely by Aria Zoner and was first successfully thru-soaked in 2014. To learn more about this monumental project, and for updates in the future for this guidebook, visit: www.hotspringstrail.org
