The Goldlisit Method: A Vocabulary Book for Language Learners

The goldlist method, created by a blogger known only as Uncle Davy, is a fun new way to learn vocabulary. On the front page, you write down ten words, phrases, or sentences in either your native or target language, depending on whether you want to translate into your target language or back into your native language, as well as the translation. Wait until two weeks without looking at your list and do your first distillation on the flip side of the page. A distillation is where you write down all the words you don't remember, or combine some of them. Continue to do distillations until you have only a handful of words you don't remember.
