The Girl in the Karst

Images of a long past life, wanting to be laid to rest, but in need of closure, would be just the beginning to his struggles, as the community began dredging up facts from that day in 1973, forty-five years before, with a young lady sharing the same birthday as Mitchs', Maranda, Maranda Thorn. The young lady had disappeared from the face of the earth in her sixteenth year, but her soul wouldn't stay missing, not without the link she had been waiting for all these decades finally, coming back to free her. But in freeing one, all is freed and for the community, dredging up a long gone past, could do nothing but spell disaster for the future.
