The Feller from Fortune: a Novel

Cat Harbour is a sleepy fishing village in 1940s Newfoundland with just the expected amount of drunk sailors and loose girls. And a library. The arrival of two visitors, one quite ordinary and one quite extraordinary, changes the lives of several of its residents forever. This historically imagined tale, off-color at times and moving at others, serves up a light course of Newfoundland history and culture with tasty Sudanese, French, Austrian, British and Bostonian side dishes.
