Dream Wood in Fitztown is a place where anything can happen, you can meet anyone and anything in Dream Wood. Four children live in a house where the garden backs on to the wood. When scott finds the hidden gate in the old garden wall, he his brother and sisters step through into a world of mystery and adventure to find they are someone quite different. The Fairy Children is the first story in a series called the Hidden Gate Tales, the stories encourage children to use thier imagination and provide motivation to write thier own.
