The Euro and European Integration

At the end of the twentieth century Europe took a decisive step in changing over to the Euro. This step does not mark the completion of the process of European integration, but it is a very important stage on the way towards unifying the -old continent-. As an economic, financial, and monetary tool of unification, the Euro triggers a truly -peaceful revolution-. The gradual development of the Euro will have the effect of accelerating future mutations. The purpose of this book is to record many of these mutations, and to bring together the analyses - relevant because they are independent - of experts from various horizons.
