I awakened in a strange place. My head throbbed and my mind moved slowly. I could not focus my eyes or my thoughts. An array of odors assaulted my senses. The dirt floor so near my face was thoroughly infused with the fetid scent of decomposing flesh.

A woman's voice whispered to me, "I told you to run Why did you not run?"
