I lean in and whisper the question I have never let myself utter in twenty-three years. "Dad, did you murder Mum?" Hannah Davidson has a dementia-stricken father, an estranged TV star brother, and a mother whose suspicious death opened up fault lines beneath the surface of their ordinary family life. Hannah is disturbed by the uncanny resemblance she now has to her glamorous mother. She begins to exploit this arresting likeness to force the truth into the light, but in doing so is propelled into a fatal standoff she could never have foreseen.
