The daily routine of school meals

Lunch for teachers and staff: 'The food here is wonderful The students can't complain Many students are from rural areas, some come from other cities, and others are from here. Most of them are poor and come to school hungry, but even so, they don't eat just anything. They are farmers' children and don't want to eat lunch here.' In the school environment, habitus, also known as biased culture, guides eating at school and everything else that will relate to students, because they eat anything, drink anything, read anything, sit on anything, relieve themselves and attend class on 'anything, ' depriving students of the right to criticise the menu offered and participate in its construction, as well as the possibility of understanding the National School Feeding Programme (BEZERRA, 2009; BOURDIEU, 2013).
