THE CROW'S NEST is a murder mystery intertwined with a story about love. Bo Hasbrook returns to his home town after 5 years in prison for a crime he didn't commit, only to find that the man who was trying to clear his name has been murdered. Bo's best friend, Jim, is now paralyzed after a recent "accident." Are these two happenings connected? Was someone trying to make sure Bo never discovered the truth? As Bo puzzles over recent happenings he becomes friends with the murdered man's niece. Together they try to take care of the ranch he left behind while attempting to clear Bo's name and find the killer. As they work side by side day after day Bo begins to fall for her. Would she reject him because of his past or did her feelings for him match those he had for her? Could he be putting her in harm's way just by being near her?
