For decades, students with learning challenges have been overlooked and deemed as “unteachable” by the traditional education system. When Joe and Jacque Digieso realized the desperate need for a new kind of educational model, they founded The Cottage School (TCS) to help every student receive a proper, foundational education. The Cottage School Model: The Breakthrough Educational Paradigm for Real-Life Learning chronicles the success TCS has seen since it was founded by the Digiesos in 1985, and how its current methodologies can be adopted by any school.
