The Cordilleran Miogeosyncline in North America

This book describes the geological history and tectonic evolution of a mega fold belt in North Ameria. This fold belt shows features not commonly observed in orogens generated by plate tectonics. Thus it gives insight into an orogen that is basically controlled by continental tectonics.
