The Common Thread

This is a two-part series. 'The Common Thread' details the journey of Walter and Martha Harris who arrived in America from England to continue their family legacy of operating a high-quality inn. Reconstructing an old rundown house in Beaufort, North Carolina into The Grand Rose Inn. Dreams were shattered when their only son, Carlton didn't want to do continue his parents' wishes. Carlton had dreams of his own. He preferred the great outdoors. In no time he purchased land to farm which soon turned into one of the largest and productive plantations in the state of North Carolina.
However, as the hand of fate would have it, with all dynasties...the decay begins slowly. Out of all the hardships, a new dawn arises. Inspiriting yet another generation in.... another way...to continue forward.
