Fifteen year old Atticus is on a boring plane ride to visit friends in California, that is, until the plane suddenly crashes in the middle of the Colorado Rockies In a classic making the best of a bad situation, rather then wait for rescue, Atticus chooses to start a new life in the wild, away from both technology and his city bound misery, as he undergoes a journey of self discovery that pushes him through the trials of survival, the hardships of life, and even the morals of man, forcing him to decide on what's really important.
