The Black Queen

The Black Queen chronicles the final days of a quaint outpost, somewhere in the remote wilds of a dystopic future-where only the deeply depressed, the forgotten have endured. From within, sixteen souls in a bunker are dying off, one by one. From without, whispers abound of the savage Bacchae descending, with the fabled Indians encircling them all. And everything, from the continued survival of the community to their very lives, hinges now on the prescient drawings of a nine-year-old girl named Sorrow ... and of a story she has to tell, about the magic of the "Black Queen."
