The Black Angel

James Wilson is savagely beaten, abducted, and left in an alley to die. Sam Washington, a homeless man, finds Wilson, then struggles with his conscience after fleeing the scene. One hundred thirty miles away, a frantic pregnant wife and two tenacious detectives struggle to solve Wilson's sudden and strange disappearance. Their efforts are impeded by a vengeful drug lord who will stop at nothing to destroy both Sam and James. As the characters emerge and take on their roles, the reader accompanies them on their journey, and is quickly immersed in their lives. The reader is drawn through a series of seemingly unrelated events bringing intrigue and suspense to the story. The hills are steep, the turns sharp, but the reader is kept on track to reach the end.
