He grew up in a noble family and was raised in a secure environment. He memorized the Qur''an and read hadith in his father''s house, then he joined the Alexandria Primary Religious Institute and remained there until he obtained the Al-Azhar Secondary School Certificate, then he moved on. He moved to Cairo in 1937 AD and joined the Faculty of Fundamentals of Religion. During his studies in Cairo, he contacted Professor Hassan Al-Banna, and his relationship with him strengthened, and he became one of those close to him. Professor Al-Banna even asked him to write in the magazine "The Muslim Brotherhood" because of his knowledge of culture and rhetoric.
