THE AVOCADO TREE

The Avocado Tree is a story that begins when Diane's father moved from Mexico to the United States and planted an Avocado Tree in the front yard of their home when she was about 10 years old in Glendale, Arizona. Diane grew up with a flourishing Avocado Tree in her front yard where she had no idea that this tree would fruit a kind of hope that would give her the strength to live a prosperous life and see the world as a magical place. This extraordinary tree had received much attention throughout its lifespan and had produced many delicious avocados to enjoy. This avocado tree grieved the loss of Diane's father along with her and her family and those who knew him. Through this loss Diane (also known as Mrs. Mylod) found a way to continue to spread her father's energy and love. This is a book about the re-discovering meaning and a life's purpose through grief and loss.
