The Authenticity of Ethics

There was a time in which philosophy had to fight for separation from religious influences. The freedom of thought that it achieved has cultivated a whole wealth of intellectual achievements. But the removal of religious influence has also made it more challenging for philosophy to answer important questions, especially in the realm of ethics. The Authenticity of Ethics is an attempt to re-invite religious discourse into philosophical inquiry. It seeks to account for who we are, how we come to know, where value comes from, and how we should live our lives.
