The Askold`s Tomb

In the third historical novel, which was published in 1833 the author depicts the times of the great prince of Kiev Vladimir. The fight between the paganism and new religion - the Christianity. These issues are combined with the conflict between the dynasties. The participants of it - do not agree with the legal basis for the legitimacy of the ruling by Rurikids, the supporters of the deposed princes of Askold and Dire. There is a love line in the novel as well, with the bright fabulous coloration which did not have any success.
