The Adventures of Left-Hand Island

The Adventures of Left-Hand Island is about a group of 5 year old children who are on a mysterious island shaped like a left hand. They are culturally diverse yet are bonded in friendship - you might say: "They had NO one at all, but they all had each other.And they got along well, like jam and peanut butter." In every book the children explore different parts of the island, which represent different parts of the world with its unique wildlife and landscape. The children encounter some mythological creatures, but the monster they meet in this book is very real and it comes with terrifying life size proportions.
