The Adventures of Douglas Sluglas

After a long and crafty battle with the angry gardener Doug the Slug is forced from his food source because he kept eating all his lettuce plants. Deciding to change his name to Douglas Sluglas as it sounds more posh he seeks fame and fortune in the great wide world beyond. Looking for a new career he unsuccessfully tries his hand at being a lumberjack, a policeman, horse guard, bus driver and fireman. What now for the hapless but lovable slug?
