In den Jahren 1962-1969 wurden bei den deutschen Ausgrabungen in der Hethiterhauptstadt Hattusa in der Nahe des Grossen Tempels im Schutt der 1906-1911 durchgefuhrten Grabungen von Hugo Winckler und Theodor Makridi mehrere tausend Fragmente von Keilschrifttafeln entdeckt. Mit dem vorliegenden Heft wird die Edition dieser Texte fortgesetzt, die auch deshalb von besonderem Wert sind, weil sie manchmal helfen, den seinerzeit nicht dokumentierten Fundort von Texten aus den alten Grabungen zu bestimmen. Das vorliegende Heft enthalt 339 Autographien von Tontafelbruchstucken, darunter zahlreiche Fragmente von Beschworungsritualen und Festritualen, aber auch solche von mythologischen Texten, Gebeten, Kultinventaren, Orakeln und Gelubden. From 1962 to 1969 the excavations in the Hittite capital Hattusa unearthed several thousand cuneiform tablet fragments in the debris dumps left by the previous excavators, Hugo Winckler and Theodor Makridi, from their excavations in the Great Temple between 1906 and 1911. The present volume continues the publication of these fragments, which are of particular value for their potential, once joined to other fragments, to clarify the findspots of tablets from the earlier, poorly documented excavations. The volume contains 339 copies, including primarily rituals and festivals, but also many fragments of mythological texts, prayers, cult inventories, oracles and vows.
