This is the second volume of the Madison/Murphy Family saga. It is about the continuing story of friends from two different parts of the country. The Madisons have a plantation in Mississippi, Oak Alley. The Murphys are from Minnesota.Together they fight in the Mexican/American war and then join forces to strike it rich in Colorado gold mines.
