Tenders and administrative contracts

Tendering is an administrative procedure in which the Direct and Indirect Public Administration obtains the most advantageous proposal, ensuring equal conditions for those taking part in the tender, with a view to concluding an Administrative Contract to promote the interests of the community. Most of the time, administrative contracts seek to fulfil the public interest, are endowed with exorbitant clauses and contain mandatory clauses. Administrative contracts cannot be considered a mere formality, but must be strictly complied with and formally edited by public administration bodies.
