Everybody deals with problems and grief in different ways. After the death of her mother, AL Drapers grief curve took a very different angle, in the form of poetry. Not only did this creep up on her unexpectedly, it lasted for three days. Having never written poetry before, she began to write about both her mother and her life, and, finally, her observations of the world in which she lives.
