Suspense: Twelve years living and longing on Death Row

He never confessed, but worked tirelessly to regain his freedom from his death cell in Huntsville, Texas. Over a period of ten years and through more than a hundred letters, he shared his innermost thoughts with his twenty years older Norwegian pen friend, the author of this book. In so doing he afforded her an insight into a hitherto completely unknown world. He urged her to write a book about him.
