Engraved titlepages. Vol. 1 dated 1777 in error for 1787, has no volume numbering, and its 'To the public' is dated: 13th Sept. 1787; while vol. 2 bears vol. numbering and is dated 1787. Intended to accompany various editions of 'The antiquities of England and Wales'; vol. 2 contains a general index "to the six volumes." Later reissued with renumbered engraved titlepages.
