Studies on Wilt and root rot diseases of Chamomile

Commercia l aromatic plants are used for production of the odorous oil, for example, geranium (Pleragonium odoratisimum), whereas medicinal plants are used for production of aromatic oil or drugs, or both. Chamomilla (Matricaria chamomilla L.) is one of the most important aromatic and medicinal plants since chamomilla flowers are used for extraction of aromatic drugs. These drugs contain 1% essential oil that include chamazu lene and bisabolol. Also, it contains the most medical constituents that reduce temperature and are disinfectants, and antispasmodic in action.
