This book is a collection of scholarly essays on various literature, film, as well as literary figures from a postcolonial point of view. The deep meditation and keen observations from postcolonial point of view of W. B. Yeats or the Bollywood adaptation of Shakespeare as well as Rushdi, Amitabha Ghosh, or Jhumpa Lahiri by modern Indian scholars have given the book a fresh flavour.
