Whilst the greatest effort has been made to ensure the quality of this text, due to the historical nature of this content, in some rare cases there may be minor issues with legibility. In the second section of Comrade Cannon's book, Letters to Comrades, the reader will find recorded the day to day, week to week, and month to month chronology of this struggle. What ren ders these letters especially valuable is their complete freedom from the subjective, the incidental and the episodic. Although com posed in the very heat of the struggle, they were not written for the moment. The reader can judge for himself how well they stand up after a lapse of three years.
