Struck By a Notion: An Adult Learning Program Anthology

Struck by a Notion is an anthology of poetry, memoir, fiction, and creative nonfiction written by members of the Adult Learning Program (ALP) in Bloomfield, Ct. Students of the Class of 2017 compiled, designed, illustrated, and edited the work produced by themselves and by students in classes from 2006 to 2017. Also included are short biographies of the students in the 2017 class which indicate their country of origin and some of their varied experience. The book also contains inspirational prompts and resources that can help teachers and students of creative writing programs to empower other adult students in this creative and congenial way.
