Stranger DNA

Michael Pearson walked out of Book One a free man--only to enter a new life as the protagonist in Book Two. He was anxious to put his affairs in order, live with the love of his life and enjoy every waking moment. Piece by piece, his dreams had fallen into place until a good friend of his lost her life--was it a homicide? He had tried to tell her she was lucky a married man had dumped her.

After viewing her body, he rushed home to his second family, only to receive a call from Detective Mason that his son, Ben was a suspect in the victim's death. He then visited Meg Carson who had rented the condominium to the now deceased. He thought she might know what happened. But Meg was planning how to explain to her daughter a secret she had kept from her.

While Michael worked with Philadelphia Detectives to find his sixteen-year-old son before the police, he noted he was being stalked on the road--and it wasn't the first time. The car was black and so were all the windows. The driver had tried to run him over a number of times recently. He had no idea who or why anyone would want to harm him. The detectives were trying to track him down.
