Stories of the Straits

This is a work of fiction about life in Detroit In the late 1960's and early 1970's. It includes array of colorful characters ranging from street people to the ultra wealthy. The story is not judgmental of the social status of the characters. Love, hate and all emotions in between are not exclusive or relegated to any social, racial or sexual orientation of a person. This story and characters are fictitious, however, certain elements of the nature of people can be painful or a source of inspiration. This book is literary in nature because it is more of a character study than plot orientated. The best way to describe this book is to read it. A short description is only a brief glimpse of the content. I do not say this to be flippant because it is my sincere opinion. I cannot guarantee that it will be like by everyone but it will undoubtedly be liked, or even loved by some.
