Darlene has close friends and family, a job she loves with her uncle's Wild West Show, and her beloved horse Beau Baby. Her love life, however, has been as blank as the desert since handsome Dobe left. As girls do, Darlene has just begun to look around when her best friend accuses her of hiding from life. Although she hasn't a clue to what she's searching for, Darlene embarks on a journey of self-discovery which brings her both love and heartache, takes her back to her Texas roots, and launches her into the excitement of the rodeo circuit.
