Steps to the Heights

This book is both history and art, for it takes Epworths yesterdays and makes them come alive for todays children. In our four-generation family, everyone loved STEPS TO THE HEIGHTS. The book is sometimes a prose poem about Mother Baldy and Dummy Line and Vespers On The Beach. At other times it is fascinating study of the relationship between a wonderful summer resort named Epworth Heights and a wonderful Michigan town named Ludington.
