Stealing Away, Like Time

Wessex Water's decision to build a water treatment works at Sutton Poyntz provided an opportunity, in 1993-4, for archaeologists to find out how people had lived, worked and worshipped in the landscape around the River Jordan. This work tells the story of the archaeological investigations that preceded construction of the works.
