Status of Dalit Women

Caste is what determines a person's status and dignity in Hindu society. He/She is born into a caste and his/her social status is therefore pre-detrained and unchanged. M.K. Gandhi one of the staunchest supporters and advocates of caste systems said that "Caste means the pre-dissemination of a man's profession Caste implies that a man must-practice one profession of his ancestor of the livelihood.
