Splendid Translations

"e;Splendid Translations"e; is a brand new book series launched by Shanghai Translation Publishing House. The book series is of clear theme and published in volumes with 5 works in each volume. Each volume has a beautiful cover in line with the theme style and the covers are designed by Mr. Zhou Weiwei, an excellent designer of the new generation. In terms of content, the book series makes full use of the powerful and widely-recognized translation resources of Shanghai Translation Publishing House to retrieve famous works to form the volumes. The theme of Volume I is "e;roaming"e;. It includes travel notes of five famous writers, namely Gide, Hemingway, Lawrence, Nagai Kafu and Maugham. The travel notes are Gide's Le Renoncement au Voyage, Hemingway's There Is Never Any Ending to Paris, Lawrence's Italians in Exile. Nagai Kafu's Kafu's Essays, and Maugham's His Britannic Majesty's Representative.
