Traci Musick-Shaffer is a contributing writer for InflammatoryBowelDisease.net and has been a high school English teacher for over twenty-eight years. When not teaching, she advocates for others living with IBD and speaks about Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs). She lives in the foothills of Appalachia and loves to write on topics she contemplates from her front porch or hiking around Shaffer farms. She received a BA from Marshall University in Huntington, WV, and a MA in English and Creative Writing from SNHU.
