Tala Green is a young indian woman who has known hershare of problems, but refuses to be beaten down. Being anoutcast from her tribe for doing what was right, she finds a job onGaven McClouds ranch. Due to threats to the ownership of theranch, Tala is talked into marriage in name only. Helping out herbest friend who is great with child, she helps to keep the womanfrom being treated to a savage attack that would cause her to losethe child. Ultimately, it is the womans husband who is behindall of their problems and it is up to Tala and Gavin to see to it aresolution is found.
